The Williamson County Grays, Camp #502 invites you to become a part of our mission to honor Confederate veterans, protect historical sites, and educate future generations about our shared Southern heritage.
By joining the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV), you will be part of a nationwide brotherhood dedicated to historical preservation, cemetery restoration, monument defense, and historical research.
To be eligible for membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, you must:
✔ Be a male descendant of a soldier, sailor, or civilian official who honorably served the Confederate States of America.
✔ Provide genealogical documentation proving your ancestor’s service (assistance available if needed).
✔ Be willing to uphold the SCV's charge to honor and defend the legacy of Confederate soldiers.
Complete a Membership Application – Download the application form or request one at a meeting.
Submit Your Genealogy – If you need help researching your ancestor, our members can assist.
Pay the Membership Fee – Annual dues cover local, state, and national SCV membership.
Attend a Meeting – Get to know our camp, meet fellow members, and learn how you can get involved.
✅ Preserve History – Help protect Confederate memorials, restore cemeteries, and keep history alive.
✅ Camaraderie – Connect with like-minded individuals who share an interest in history and heritage.
✅ Community Engagement – Participate in historical reenactments, educational programs, and commemorative events.
