Confederate History and Heritage Month Memorial Service
April is Confederate History and Heritage Month, a time to reflect on the sacrifices and legacy of those who served during the War Between the States. To honor our ancestors, the Williamson County Grays held a solemn memorial service at Oddfellows Cemetery in Georgetown, where we placed flags on the graves of all Civil War veterans, both Union and Confederate. This tribute ensures that their memory endures and that their service is recognized for generations to come.
Below, you'll find a carousel of images from the event, capturing moments of remembrance, reflection, and respect for those who came before us.
